Itihaas on Graham Staines

Hit Counter

Graham Staines was a Christian Missionary from Australia who worked with lepers in Orissa. He was burnt alive by a gang of Bajrang Dal supporters on January 22, 1999.

While some of the work of missionaries in India has troubled Akhilesh, he was aghast at what was done to Staines, and how little the Indian Government has done to apprehend the killers and bring them to justice.

Itihaas articles about Staines include:

Survival Thanks to Protectors
January's Martyrs
